Very important Opera composer of Italian Opera Buffa, who was active in Vienna at the time of Mozart.  His Opera "Matrimonio Segreto" is his most often performed today, but many of his other works are probably just as good.   We feature the entiver first act of "Ärmida Imaginaria" on this site as such an example.
