The definition of Art Song when it comes to those of England, and of Scotland and Ireland in English with local dialect tends to blur into those of the best quality traditional-folk of those lands somewhat more than elsewhere. In fact such material competes strongly as the best vocal music in English that is of Classical Music spirit and quality. Welsh and Gaelic pieces will not be found in this album as such are entirely languages in their own right rather than dialects or suppliments to English. When we achieve our ambitions of presenting tracks in a large choice of translations to go with the original that will always be shown, this could become the best album for the rest of the world to become introduced to English language song.
