|Schubert - Individual Lieder|
|This should be an expanding album. A bit could be written about every one of Schubert's 800 songs. For now let us just note that "Die Forelle" is the basis of the great "Trout Quintet". The singable English translation by R.E.C. is a deveiation from the norm Artsconverge presentation which is more focused on emphasizing the meaning of the original. The two versions of "An Sylvia" might expand. Note that the English text her is indeed the actual words attributed to W. Shakespeare, which R.E.C. and others consider to be the pen name of Edward de Vere (1550-1604)-17th Earl of Oxford.|
